Introducing the new collection Maniglia
My new jewellery collection Maniglia (Italian for handle) refers to the refinement of the Milanese area, but also to the tradition of quality craftsmanship that characterises the jewellery from my workshop. The collection consists of variations of necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings for women; some earrings are designed for the ears of small children. The airy jewels combine classic morphology with contemporary inspiration. The individual pieces are connected not only by the motif of the Milanese pastry shop, but also by the possibility of combining them freely. This characteristic is typical of my approach to jewellery:
“Each piece is like a delicate architectural structure – it consists of carefully selected materials and details connected into a harmonious whole. Based on proportions and inner meaning, every woman looks for her own piece of jewellery and with it unique possibilities to express her personality.”
The jewellery design in the Maniglia collection is inspired by the details of a staircase in Milan, but it could also be reminiscent of the sophisticated desserts for which Marchesi 1824 is famous. You can see how many forms the word lightness can take on the instagram of the Milanese patisserie.

This is a sweet analogy that always puts a smile on my face.
